Bámulatosan tiszta - dán tervek Afganisztánban

Dánia valamiért beválasztotta a szar melót. A dán hadsereg ott van Helmandban a britek mellett évek óta. Ok nem csak a hadseregük fejlettsége és a katonák kiképzettsége van meg, hanem a politikai akarat is megvolt, hogy bemenjenek sűrűbe.

Magamat is megleptem ezzel a gondolattal. Mert ennek az a folytatása, hogy minek kellene technikailag, erőforrásilag mondjuk dán szintre felhozni a magyar hadsereg egészét, ha a politikai elit sosem merné bevállalni azt, hogy ezek után be is küldje a magyar katonákat ilyen veszélyes helyekre. Nem arról van szó, hogy a Különleges Műveleti Zászlóalj egyszerre 17 katonával, négyhavi váltásban, hanem a teljes magyar haderő képes lenne a) harcolni a tálibokkal b) éles helyzetben 100 százalékos kompatibilitással együttműködni mondjuk a brit hadsereggel.

Visszatérek. Most találtam valami dán weboldalt (szerintem valami hivatalos külügyi lehet), amely arról szól, hogy a dánok hogyan képzelik el 2014-ig a jelenlétüket Afganisztánban katonai, rendőri, fejlesztési stb. értelemben.

DENMARK WILL:

* Increase the advisory and mentoring effort aimed at the ANP leadership in the area of the Danish battle group by deploying an additional POMLT to Gereshk.
* Support training and education of the ANP in Helmand by
o Deploying four Danish police trainers to the Helmand Police Training Centre (HPTC) in Lashkar Gah. The effort will contribute to the development of Afghan competency development concerning basic standards in police work, personal security, leadership, development and respect for human rights
o Continuing to support the next phase of the physical construction of the HPTC in Lashkar Gah
o Working to increase the number of female police officers in the ANP, also within the Danish area of operations in Nahr-e-Saraj, within the framework of the coalition efforts in Helmand.
* Combat corruption in the police, among other things by continuing the support for payments of salaries to Afghan police personnel through contributions to the Law and Order Trust Fund for Afghanistan (LOFTA).
* Support the international coordination of the police effort – including the division of labour between the EUPOL and the NTM-A – through Danish membership of the International Police Coordination Board (IPCB) and through the continued occupation of the post of Head of the IPCB Secretariat.
* Continue to make a significant contribution to the EU police mission (the current contribution consists of 14 police officers and two civilian advisors) in order to strengthen the leadership training scheme for officers of the Afghan police force, who, upon finishing their training, are stationed in the provinces and districts of Afghanistan, including Helmand. In relation to EUPOL Denmark will also work to increase the efficiency of the EUPOL effort.

Egy dologhoz vezet ez az egész így hirtelen. A dánoknak valószínűleg ugyanolyan létkérdés Afganisztán mint nekünk. Mégis komolyan veszik. Nem tudom, hogy ezekből mi fog megvalósulni valójában, de szántak rá időt, hogy az egészet valami koherens egységbe próbálják illeszteni.
